एक बड़े नदी के किनारे एक बड़ा जंगल था। बारिश के मौसम में एक दिन, भारी बारिश होते ही नदी ओवरफ्लो होने लगी। पूरे जंगल में पानी घुसने लगा। जंगल के सभी जानवर जंगली भागने लगे। जबकि कुछ जानवर पेड़ों पर बैठे हैं, कुछ जानवर जो पेड़ पर चढ़ने में सक्षम नहीं हैं, वे बच गए। सरल तैराक जिसने इसे देखा, उसने खरगोश, लोमड़ी, हिरण, बाघ, भालू जैसे जंगली कुत्तों की जान बचाई। धीमी बारिश ने नदी के पानी को धीमा कर दिया।
जंगल का शेर राजा यह सुनकर बहुत खुश हुआ कि पाँच जंगली कुत्तों ने कुछ जंगली जानवरों को बचाया था। इसे सभी जानवर कहें, जंगली कुत्ते बहुत बहादुर और दयालु होते हैं। मैं जंगल में कई जानवरों के जीवन को पुरस्कृत करना चाहता हूं। अब से हर दिन इन कुत्तों ने मेरे साथ डिनर किया। आपको उन सभी का सम्मान करना चाहिए।
